Spring Break with Grandma and Papper

Matthew and Sally spent a few days over spring break visiting with grandma and papper. Matthew really enjoyed going to the Elmo Makes Music show. The music was entertaining and kept his attention. He even sang and danced a little too. Afterwards, we spent some time at the Children's Museum looking at the trains, dinosaurs, and Curious George. Needless to say, we had one very tired little boy on our hands at the end of this day!

Since everyone was home for a day or two, the guys helped papper put the new air hockey table together. Matthew loved playing air hockey, and was even fairly decent at it. Everytime a goal was scored, he would cheer and get excitied, regardless of who scored the goal!

We sure did have a great time visiting. It was good to see Grandma, papper, Uncle Doug and Aunt Courtney, Aunt Jen, and Uncle Aaron. We will miss them until we can visit again.

New Addition....Coming Soon

Chris and I are expecting our second child in early August. I am now 21 weeks along and doing well. We had the ultrasound last week Thursday and the baby looks great. We found out that we are having a little ? Oops, I guess you'll have to wait to find out! Anyways, here is the ultrasound picture!

Easter

We took Matthew to the city park for the egg hunt put on by the student council at my school. He was so excited to see the Easter bunny that he took off running to give him a hug. It was quite humerous to see him give the easter bunny a hug and then not let go, as the bunny was one of my current students. He just looked at me with the "what do I do?" look. Matthew did great searching for eggs and ended up with a basket full of candy and trinkets when it was all said and done.

Snow Day

It is unusual for us to get snow, let alone enough to build a snowman. But, that's exactly what happened in early March. Sally's school was sent home on early release and the afternoon was spent playing in the snow with Matthew! Hard to believe that in three years, this was the first time that he had been able to actually play in the snow! We had a great time, as you can see from the picture.
